Goth = shithead?

Yeah. You dont know what is a "GOTH" yourself. Go to the library, take a subculture guide and try to understand a word it says. By the way, goths suck becouse they think that this world sux, but not our world sux, but they do. And I dont want any of those shitheads (its meaning is the same as goth) in my life :/ - Dominick

Misinterpretation.

I was greatly disturbed by the thinly veiled attack on my personal beliefs ("Lauer/Vader Interview"). To use Vader as a metaphor for me was at best an over-the-top farce, a hyperbola of hypocrisy, a lame attmept to make me look like a fool. And don't tell me you weren't lampooning me...it's obvious. Why do I have to endure the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune because I choose to take arms against a sea of troubles I see in the field of psychiatric medicine? Why? Well, I'll tell you why...it's because...I'm in love. Yeah, that's right, I'm in love and you poor, lonely satire writers ain't. And I'm not gay...I saw the gay subtext in that article, so don't deny it. I banged Oprah, right in the couch in front of the entire studio autdience so that's PROOF I'm not gay. No, they couldn't show it on TV. And by the way, I didn't enjoy that guy squiting me in the face with that mock microphone either. Only a gay guy would enjoy something like that. OK, I was sort of erotically aroused by the idea of a man spurting me in the face, but that erection was a physical reaction to suppressed anger, that's all. If you'd studied human sexuality like I have, you'd know that. - Tom Cruise

I enjoyed the fact that you are so strong in your beliefs on what is goth , and who is not.However I felt your story lacked some certain credibility to back itself up.Ok you have a very, very , dark past.Care to explain to all these "posers" out there , why this is so important?Do not fret , I'm good at this kind of thing, and I'm sure from the rantings you have made you do know what you are speaking of. The "goth" way of life , that has now been made into a fashion statement actually derived from the "Dark Ages" a very hard time in history , where the colors :Black,Grey,and I believe Purple and Red were worn to represent the depression and total fall of civilization as these people had known.The chains and spikes that we wear today were once taken as a much more sinister apparell, really not an apparell at all, but rather torturing devices , I could go on into details about this , but that would take too long so I shall not . Really I completely understand where you are coming from when you keep mentioning your dark past ,I know that you are real , because even though I have no freakin' clue as to what your past events actually consist of, I do know you have something to back up your fashion and beliefs.I am also a victim of a dark past , so dark that I know for a fact if I made my story into a movie or a book it would get best selling and whatever other awards there are , it would send chills down ones spine everytime they thought about it , and it would strip away all the trust they ever had for ANYONE or ANYTHING.I myself do not claim to be goth , and it seems ironic because I am one of the few who actually deserve the title ,although my style is a mix of what one could call "goth and metalhead" the only difference is I have tried moving on and actually try having fun with my life, but the nightmares and flashbacks still haunt me so , and sometimes I fall into an angry depression that leaves outsiders confused as hell. Thank you for being real , and thank you for your time . Satan's Daughter=( - Does it matter?
