Nostradomus Texts Reveal Other Tragedies
by Josh Righter In a find that many are considering "stunning", last night, researchers uncovered new, never-before-seen texts presumably written by the famous prophet Nostradomus. In these texts, Nostradomus, who some believe predicted many other world events such as World War II and, more recently, the acts of terrorism against the USA, forecasts other disasters and misfortunes. "If we're to believe that Nostradumus can accurately predict even a small portion of important world disasters," said lead researcher Marty Hond, "then this discovery is no less than earth-shattering. We should pay very close attention to what the texts have to say." The texts read somewhat cryptically, but their messages are all too clear. The Enduring Vision has been given permission to reprint some of the alleged prophecies, and so we bring them to you now. "In the year twenty and ten," Nostradomus wrote, "on the planet of blue, a great disaster of some sort will occur." Clearly, the "planet of blue" Nostradomus refers to is the Earth -- the very same planet we live on. His accuracy, even to non-believers, is stunning. "One day," another prediction reads, "a terrible tragedy will befall a great city on the planet of blue. This tragedy will involve misfortune, tall buildings, and possibly an evil man." Though the date is not specified, Nostradomus has foreseen the cities of today, complete with "tall buildings", with uncanny clarity. In reponse to this quotation, cities worldwide are preparing themselves for the coming "misfortune". "A great portion of bad luck will occur in the year twenty and three," reads another statement. "On some body of land on this planet, there will be a period without rain, and exceedingly hot weather. Those who must endure this period will wait for the rain to come again. It will, but some may be forced to save the water before it comes." Nostradomus, according to analysts of this text, is speaking of a draught, which he describes in tremendous detail, right down to the "hot" temperature the weather will bring. Because of the undoubtedly fascinating nature of the predictions, it comes as no surprise that even in today's modern society, there are still many followers of the ancient prophet. "How anyone could make such detailed predictions is beyond me," said one Georgia woman. "Man, next to Nostradomus, Jesus -- who I previously worshipped but dumped in favour of Nostradomus -- just seems so plain," a Florida man said. "It's like, 'boooring!'" The researchers caution, though, that while convincing, the Nostradomus texts should not be taken as fact. "Unlikely as it is," said one researcher, "it is possible that these predictions may be completely false, though it is my scientific opinion that the guy obviously knows what he's talking about."
