One of my fondest memories from high school is reading Yahoo User Movie Reviews during computer class, while our teacher attempted to explain to us how to save a Word document. I know they don't sound like anything particularly funny, but trust me: you can never underestimate the grammatical blunders, nonsensical insults, and even racial slurs that the general public will spout off to anyone who might be listening.

An instant classic

It never ceases to amaze me how some of the " professional " critics derive their views from movie watching.

The movie
by morbidthreads13 (movies profile) Sep 17, 2005

The movie was really really good. What's ironic is my friend got into a motorcycle accident today just before I saw it.

Josh: Wow, that is ironic and weird.

Strange,kind of like the X-Files.
by swimmingsteve1 (movies profile) Sep 17, 2005

This movie is probably too weird for my taste-I would go out of my way to concern myself with watching this rather oddball movie-it reminds me of the X-Files TV show or possibly the Twilight Zone TV series

Josh: So like, Reese Witherspoon was actually an alien working for the government? Or Mark Ruffalo realized at the end that he was the ghost all along?

[Bonus! Two "Lord Of War" reviews! - Ed.]

Left wing politics, again
by d223e (movies profile) Sep 18, 2005

It's a shame when the movie industry tries to get their leftwing agenda across to the American people,They don't seem to care that they take good actors and sometimes a good story and give it second rate attention, just so there position gets aired.

Josh: Yeah, Hollywood Jerks. Don't you remember the Movie Impartiality Law and No Movie Maker Shall Have An Opinion Act of 1945?

Ex-CELL-ENT
by hardblow2000 (movies profile) Sep 16, 2005

this movie is tighter than a frogs but at a watermelon seed fight. it makes me get a soviet cosmonaught style

Josh: This is the most apt description of a movie in the history of the world.
